The greatest story ever told is what? Throughout the month of March, you will be hearing from me about preparing everybody for a church wide series on, "the greatest story ever told." Envision the children, the youth, and the adults all being on the same page of one grand story. The story, of course, is God's great love affair with humanity. Sunday School lessons, youth endeavors, and adult Bible studies will all be discussing the same part of the story each Sunday.

The goal is for families to walk together through the Bible in thirty weeks. Although this new effort will not begin until April 15th, I would like to begin promoting this early so people will begin to talk about it.

So…get ready "The Greatest Story Ever Told" is more than just a cliché.

Lenten Series: "Submitting That Changed Lives!"

 

Considering the theme for this year, "Submitting Ourselves in 2012", our Lenten series will take a closer look at the lives of people who participated in the Via Delorosa (way of suffering) of our Lord. Beginning on "Ash Wednesday", February 22nd, we will begin our walk together this Lenten season that will take us to the cross of Calvary and resurrection of Jesus.

Lenten Dinners

 

The Boards of Our Savior will be preparing delicious meals each Wednesday during Lent. You may come to Fellowship Hall between 5:30 PM and 6:45 PM to eat. A freewill offering will be taken each week to cover the cost of the meals.
